Bear Valley Search & Rescue is a 100% volunteer team operating under the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Every hour our members spend in training or on mission comes out of their own schedules—and every rope, radio, and rescue sled they use comes from donations. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID: 51-0480791), we rely entirely on the generosity of donors like you to keep our team ready to save lives in the high country.
Your tax-deductible gift makes an immediate impact: every dollar goes straight into equipment and services for the team. Your support covers medical supplies, communications gear, and mission-specific tools—from ropes to vehicles to patient-packaging systems—ensuring we have what we need when called upon.
Because our members absorb all personal equipment costs, your donation multiplies their commitment. A single gift can help underwrite:
Equipment Procurement: Replace worn-out gear or acquire new technology.
Operational Supplies: Emergency rations and consumables for extended searches.
We deeply appreciate every contribution, large or small. By giving today, you join a community dedicated to keeping Bear Valley’s backcountry safer for everyone.
